Tampa Florida, Moving to Tampa Options

So on Sunday I will officially live in Tampa. Does anyone on here live in Tampa? What is there to do around the USF campus? I'm not sure I'll have my celica for a month or two it is getting some engine work done to it, and hopefully some body work. But as soon as I get it back I will be all over South Florida, so watch out!!!

I have never been in Tampa.. got sidetracked every time and between work and scuba diving.. you know.

First and foremost everyone and their grandmother here are certified to scuba dive. Yes that ridiculously expensive and overly addictive hobby. I guarantee that you can not walk 100 yards without meeting at least 2 people who are certified and like 20 people who are but dont dive...

Aside from that. Everything here is in terms of distances. Its just you.. the road and lots of traveling. There are a few amusement parks here but mostly Tampa and its vicinity are sleeper zones where people live rather than entertain themselves. There are a ton of restaurants in area as well as stores so if you are not from florida.. your favourite store is probably here somewhere and you have nothing to worry about. USF seems like a big thing here although I have no idea where it is.
