Really great job man. A lot of hard work there but it's paid off.
But i'm not feeling the new wheels AT ALL. The rest is sooo clean, you really need clean simple wheels, not those over the top split rim screw head covered things just my opinion. Nice work though mate This post has been edited by manphibian: Aug 5, 2007 - 2:19 PM -------------------- |

I guess I'm probably going to be the only one- but I like the old wheels. I'd powdercoat the old ones a matte black personally, but thats just me. The black is a good color for the rims, although it does look like the new ones are a bit busy.
Mad props on all the custom work man! It looks great, and its cool being able to have something truly unique! -------------------- psalm 69 |

Looks like the celica concept car. I guess the 3 spokes help bring out that look as well.

QUOTE(QuintinGT @ Aug 16, 2007 - 12:54 AM) i think you should make your licenseplate piece match the paint line of the taillights... as what i mean is like paint the bottom of that piece white so it looks like a solid black line from taillight to taillight -------------------- 2015 Subaru WRX. Awesome, definately approved. Love what you did with the rear black area / shaving job.
addendum: would look great with better brakes and a two post spoiler, or a shaved spoiler/duckbill. i like the 3 spokes though, always have. Car is subtle and nice. I'd track down some foglights too. And what about radio reception? I think a little sharkfin might be cool. Definately liking it though. -------------------- |

Mods...can we please STOP QuintinGT from posting up pictures...every time I see his car it makes me realise how **** and dirty my car is and how much work I still have to do on it
Once again, an awesome car, absolutely fantastic. Loving the black roof...very origional on a Celica. It all looks excellant. I`m going to go and sulk now and wish that I had (A) the time to make my car that clean and (B) the talent to do all the things you have done. Just spotted the single wipper conversion aswell....nice This post has been edited by Insanity-74: Oct 4, 2007 - 9:15 AM |

QUOTE(QuintinGT @ Aug 16, 2007 - 12:54 AM) I think you need to photo-chop that muffler tip out! And thank God you got new rims! Other than that very nice, single wiper, darker turnsignals, all of it. Nice. Clean. (ooo, just noticed the shave rear brake light on the hatch) (just change the tip of the muffler and you're set!)
