Does anyone here have the VIS carbon fiber trunk and if so how hard was it to install/easy and were you able to mount back the rear wiper and have your heat sensors working???

fitment is stock, but you will not have a rear wiper or spoiler. I can't remember if the 3rd brake light is lost, but the heat sensors will work, as your wiring will be brought through into the new hatch, and you will need to have the glass pulled from the stock one and installed in the new one.

Will I be able to drill the carbon fiber hatch to mount an aftermarket wing?

You could drill it, but if not properly reinforced the stress of the wing will destroy the hatch.

the hatch fits pretty well and the cf knits are tight and nicely patterned. like mentioned, you loose the wipers but not the 3rd brake light. you can also hook up the defrost but i opted not to since i don't really drive the car.
as for the interior plastic pieces, you will need to dremel out the pre-patterned outlines for the interior clips. i suggest doing this before installing the hatch since it makes the process easier and faster. here are some pics of my hatch... |

Nice, RCTCelica! Nice work! Really neat! Another member mentioned about reinforcing the wing! How so?

If yours came with holes pre-drilled it is something that was done afterwards.

95CelicaST, thanks for your help! I would also like to know if the trunk needs to be reinforced like the carbon fiber hood because of its light weight?
