In a quest to make my car a bit different, I was thinking about getting the bonnet buldge of the faff painted black....(i have seen a red one with something similar and quite liked it). Should I or shouldnt I?????am in two minds at the moment.
As it is now Possible future look???? Hmmmmm...really not sure what to do |

I think it looks great on your car, Insanity. But it all depends on the color of the car also. Would you do this on a black car? What about a red?

Hmmmmm still undecided...I have put this on a few forums and the range of opinions ranges form a) yuck how could you even think of doing that. to b) I`d marry it............Personally I quite like it but not enough to say a definate "yes"....dont dislike it enough to say "no" i dont want to do it...which is why I am asking for opinions from you good folk.
I think I would stick with the black as my car bits n bobs are either blue (the colour of the car) or black, with a few bits of silver here and there......I dont think silver would look very good. I might be wrong though, if anybody wants to have a play and change the colours I might change my mind (I`m useless at photoshop....mainly because I havnt got it ) I could try a huge vynal sticker to see if I like it but I think laying a vynal over the snorkel and the rounded edges could be a nightmare and look pretty crap.......I`ll give it some more thought...see if anyone can persuade me one way or another. cheers Nial |

Hmmm...
I don't really like your color with stripes etc. Colors like medium/dark blue look good with white stripes, as do some other darker colors. But here is some advice that might make me like it better: I don't like the rounded off look on the bottom. Try doctoring it to go straight down(on an angle) to the vent lip after it clears the bulge contours. |

Also, try a 4" to 8" seperation(normal color) in the middle of the black to break it up. That might look pretty nice.

like u said, its not terrible, yet its not AMAZING either.
i think if u did it eitherway it would be ok. If u really wanted to make it look AMAZING ud have to continue the black line back the rest of the car. (aka the roof, and part of your hatch.) if u stop it at the hood it will look kind of odd, and people might ask "what happend there?" instead of saying "Nice car" edit: if u look at the photo posted by playr158, u can see how the cars have black roofs, and undoubtidly CF trunk lids or black trunk lids. It flows and pulls the whole car together. This post has been edited by devilsden97: Aug 8, 2007 - 11:44 AM -------------------- Kawi Love |

-------------------- I think Bigfoot is blurry, that's the problem. It's not the photographer's fault. Bigfoot is blurry. And that's extra scary to me, because there's a large, out-of-focus monster roaming the countryside. |
