Ok, I just turned 100k miles and my engine seems kinda funny feeling. (probably in my head) Also, it doesn't seem to shift like it used to. What engine treatment is the best, and is there anything else you people would do?

Don't use any!!! mad.gif

They are mostly garbage and cause more damage then they solve. If you are concerned about your engine, use synthetic oil. Synthetic trans fluid may help the shifts as well otherwise just change the fluid and filter in the trans.

Ummm.....advice, check your water pump and make sure its l33t. Cuz mine just blew up on me, sparyed anti-freeze on my timing belts and now I'm looin' at 700 to shell out frown.gif I would check your engine, only costs like 30 bucks around here. I was at 105k miles. Best thing, get your engine inspected LoL!

Aren't they supposed to be re-tuned at 100k also? Whould toyota be able to inspect it? I wonder what a water pump for a 7a costs?

Well, I used the zmax additive and I noticed a deference in responsiveness and in engine idle( I maintain my ride pretty well). I've been putting it in ever since. I treat the engine every two oil changes. My car has been running like a new car ever since. My $.02 rolleyes.gif
