im planing to paint my trim RED and i want to see if ne one did this already if so can som1 post pics also i want to kno how to do it like what kinda color paint wat type and all the steps to make it look right i jus tried wit this one duplicolor autospray and the paint wont say and its a very dark red =\

Did you sand it first with grit paper?

Also did you use primer?

aha um i didnt not sand it and umm i used.....it says on the can DUPLI COLOR AUTOSPRAY i duno where it says primer and where can i get that kind of sand paper? i saw a nice red trim from one of the member i dont remember who though

You can purchase grit sand paper at Advance autoparts or a Pepboys.

That procedure takes awhile.

some pics in my profile...

they look pink because of my camera, they are really birght red. I used krylon fusion plastics. It only needed a light sand and i was good to go

kinda stupid question but uhh how do i sand it? like im scared that wen i sand it its gonna be all like rough n stuff is there ne steps i should take?

just do it, once you get into it you will become more comfortable and youll learn as you go. All i can really say is try 60 grit sandpaper from home depot, then move up to 120 grit, 180 grit, 220 grit and once your at 220 it shouldnt be rough and will be ready for paint.

i used the krylon fusion plastics paint to. all i did was wipe the plastics off with a cloth and sprayed it.
