Will jdm hatchback tails fit on a 94 st coupe... need some help

what you can do if you want some JDM goodies for your coupe, there is car in Japan called a curren. Its based off the AT200 platform, aka the celica coupe platform. It has basicly the same tails as a USDM coupe for the 94-96 years, but the 97+ have a bit different tail light.

Im using Coomer car
OEM USDM Coupe/Convertable tails

and Coomer's car with Currens


They are the same shape, but have a bigger clear section and they have a light tint on the lens. Much better looking IMO. They run about $210 give or take.

im in the process or playing around with similar ideas, when i get the balls, gonna try n make some sick led tails outta the currens i have

and yes, for all those at the earlier csp, you WILL know when im on the brakes.

im workin on following that for an 00 echo sedan, and ive played around a lil bit with my lil rc car, but i want the celica to look as sweet as it does from the front as it does from the rear, an di think some leds will do the trick, gonna try an infinity look

edit: i think the yelli celi needs to teach its new owner some photography skills

but yes, if all goes well i plan to at least put up a how to, and those willing to part with their tails for some time i could even do it for ya. i plan to do similar to how he did in that thread of actually making the leds in whatever pattern/design you wish, for the turns, i plan something similar cept a more < > clearing pattern going only from inner to outer.

but imo, i think people should try n go the extra mile with what you have instead of makin hatch tails on a coupe, make something that noone else can easily copy AND make your car stand out in the process with advanced oem styling, instead of the mid 90's styling it has now. if that makes sense
