I'd like to get some wheels soon, sometime around Christmas, and I'd like to see what you guys have to give me an idea of what looks good. Pics plus wheel info would be awesome.

QUOTE(coldbluesteel @ Sep 9, 2007 - 9:19 PM) Do you have a color preference? Not really, but I was thinking bronze or gunmetal on white would look awesome. If there are pictures with that combo, great, but I'd like to see everything. And also, I'm thinking either 16" or 17", but it seems that most 17's look way too big. For example, I love the way these look. I believe they are Volks, CE827 something or other I believe?

Wow, 16's look like plenty of wheel. I'm also looking at these ADR M-Sport's in 17's, and the offset is 40mm, is that too extreme? My current wheels are 37 I believe, so will they stick out more towards the fender?
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/17-ADR-WHEE...1QQcmdZViewItem I'd get them in silver. -Matt |

no, they would be tucked in more like that, and 16 is way to small looking unless your looking into track racing the car, which is why driveby did it....I went with lightweight 17's with 45profile tires...

That looks sweet. Looks like 17 is the way to go. What offset did you guys go with?

I had 17" wheels with a +42 offset. The front looked great, but the back was sunken in a bit. You could get +42 and buy some 5mm spacers to throw on the back. For lowering the car, I think the ideal offset is +39

Mine are 42 offset, like 95celicast said, the back will be tucked in a bit.get some 5mm spacers for the back and it should look alot better without having to change the studs.

don't have anything recent...
17's wrapped in 205/45/17. sooner or later i'ma get something with a better offset so they look flush with the fenders. and also wider for better traction. -------------------- ss-iii splitters and 404 skirts are on. which means i need to update my sig. |
