Im planning on building new front and rear strut bar for the celi and just had a few questions for those who built your own strut bars, what kind of metal did you use?? What diameter of tubing did you use?
I could easily buy on, and on this forum there are some sweet ones, but i think it would be really cool if i made it myself. |

i am planning on doing one on my own. mild 1/8in steel for the brackets and 1 1/4 or 1 1/8 by 1/8 or 3/16 wall Stainless steel with some heim joints or bushings on the ends

or you can mod a neon strut bar, worked for me

I want to build one from scratch...a three point. I rather have a bar built for my car than one modifed to fit...but thanks for the input.
