i was thinking bout it today,i love the MR2-S.........and i was wondering how hard would it be to swap it with the SMT in to my celica?


probbly a dumb idea though

Again this is where "how deep is your pocket?" Question arises..

Plenty of fabrication and wiring hell would be involved.

Isn't the Mr2-S motor the same as the corolla ones also?

Same motor, but the one in the spyder is slightly different. It has MFI injection and lighter weight cast rods from the regular 1zz-fe.

very easy to swap, sell your Celi and buy a MR2-S, done

in reality, there are more probable swaps that will give you much much more with less headache.
