i know if you upgrade from a 4post to 7th gen you have to change the airbag. but i have a 3post in a 99gt. would i still need to get a new airbag or could i just use mine? the wheel itself looks the same but the airbag cover is diff. also from what i read in a recent post the cruise control was diff from a 4post wheel to 7th gen from batman (i think that's who said it). would that still apply to the 3post to 7th gen cuz it looks ?

on a new topic
on my drivers side floormat the little hook that keeps it in place is gone altogether. how hard would it be to replace that? it's not a big deal but it moves all over the place while i am driving and i am tired of always having to adjust it.
any help on either matter would be great.
thanks

i dont think you need to change the airbag..just buy an adapter for the plugs, or you could just re-wire. Airbag cover is not going to make a different..

Im not sure abt the CC, but would think they are very similar....if not the same???

if you look at the driver's side floor mat there is a hole to hook onto a knob or something on the carpet. it keeps the mat in place.

the reason why i want a new steering wheel is mine is starting to peel away the outer layer right at the top of the steering wheel or at 12 o' clock or whatever. i really like the 7th gen steering wheel. if i could get my hands on one for a decent price i would get the cf supra wheel. that would be sweet.

ahh, i wondered what those were for. i figured a hook of some sort, but havent ever worried about it i suppose

i was lookin for a 7th get gts 3 spoke wheel too. they are quite pricy tho, mine is torn b/c the airbag is blown. if your going to sell yours, its got to be in better shape than mine. lmk. g/l.
