QUOTE(Rusty @ Dec 18, 2007 - 6:58 AM) oh great one show us how to clean our engine bay, to that level Believe it or not, i just use hot water and an old sock or t-shirt, it takes alot of elbow grease and you end up with a few cuts on your hands to get in the niggle/akward bits. Then polish with autoglym resin polish and then wax everything. -------------------- Celica-Club.co.uk - Best Show Car JAE '06 Celica-Club.co.uk - Best Gen 6 JAE '07 Celica-Club.co.uk - Members Best Celica JAE ‘07 |

(belts & extractors) Just get the rag/sock damp and wipe over everything, i even took bits off to get to the niggle bits that you can't reach. I used meguiars wax, it just gives it that extra bit of shine! -------------------- Celica-Club.co.uk - Best Show Car JAE '06 Celica-Club.co.uk - Best Gen 6 JAE '07 Celica-Club.co.uk - Members Best Celica JAE ‘07 |

QUOTE(stetsonaw @ Dec 23, 2007 - 10:51 AM) very dirty, but just installed cooling plate. what kind of strut bar is that? cusco? i like it. i like the addition of the cooling plate too. very nice. sad to say though your car isn't a ssIII but a gt or maybe an ssII. the ssIII has the redtop beams motor. i'm still jealous though. you have atleast 40 more hp stock than mine. actually, SS-IIIs started production in Aug 95, just didn't put the beams in until '98. i've bounced the the chassis code around on here... ST202-BLPZF (which is on the plate in my car) is an Automatic SS-III.
Taken from here 2.0 SS-III produced: 08/95 - 08/99 model: ST202-BLMZF (MTM), ST202-BLPZF (ATM) engine: 3S-GE vvt-i, 210BHP (98-99); 3S-GE, 177BHP (95.8-97) more info: all models RHD, liftbacks more info here sorry to break your heart that not all SS-IIIs totally kick. -------------------- ~Andy
