so lets get down to stopping the 7afte smoking problem
ok so i have absolutely NO leaks in my system anywhere
my return line has no bends in it so oil cant puddle in it
i have an oil reducer in the feed line
now what happens is under 3lbs or more of boost it will blow smoke out of the exhaust but when i stop or come out of boost it doesnt if i just drive normally (only going to 1 or barely 2lbs) there is no smoke at all
so does anyone have any ideas of how to stop this and ive heard of using 2 reducers in the feed line does that sound like a good idea

do you have an oil pressure gauge?
if not you should get one and find out what you are getting

its a brand new turbo so the seals are good but if i were to put a gauge in where in which line would i put it

Oil feed line, not sure if your feeding from the head like the 5sfTe'rs but thats a decent spot to hook up.

ok, well first thing you NEED to do, is go down to advanced auto or something or order one from here
http://www.42draftdesigns.com/vdo.htm

so that you have an oil pressure gauge.

get a T-fitting for your oil pressure sender output on your block, run the aftermarket one, OEM one and your oil feed line to the T.
you need to find out what the oil pressure is, so that further diagnosis of your problem can occur. without knowing the pressure its needle in a hay stack / flying blind

you would actually have to T into it again in order to hook up the gauge, i would T it @ the restrictor on the turbo for the aftermarket gauge.

thats a good question haha,
maybe Jgreen/p2 can answer that.

i would assume after the reducer would be more accurate about what the turbo is getting?

i had the same problem with my setup , i even put in two reducers ,still smoked in boost . i know i was only running around 20psi of oil pressure to the turbo, to fix my problem i used 1/2 in return line with no sharp bends i do not blow smoke any more , my old return line was the 3/8in size i think everyone uses, or gets with there oil return kit , but it did not work for me. 1/2in works great and i have no troubles for over a year.

trd said it.. im pretty sure the return line is the 2nd overlooked piece to the puzzle 2nd to the feedline reducer. give it a try.

check your valve seals under boost load you may be getting some oil in the exhaust ports . 2 car our a compression test and see what your numbers are, you may have lifted your head gasket
