make a section where we can rate and review certian products so we dont have to ask the same questions a million times. ie how do you like your weapon r cai, what springs are the best.

just a thought...

Its a good idea. You could also review companies. ie. wheelmax. Because in another thread I myself was asking why someone commented on why not to buy from them. (of course we went over we couldnt have a good/bad seller section for people... but we could share our opinions about companies.. prices/shipping/service/etc.) This could help members decide on what to buy and where to buy from.

This is a great idea. It would help alot of newbies as well as the vets. Also take most of the effort in part sourcing.

Yeah, I like that idea. Maybe instead of making a new section and using more bandwith, we could just have a small box near the product description for buyer's comments.

One idea that I had last night(actually, it was this morning) on my long drive home at two in the morning was setting something up so that users could go through a list which would have all the parts in the parts database, and then they could check which parts they have on their car, and give a rating of the part, how much it costed them, how much installation costed, etc.

This way, potential buyers could come across a part in the database and find ratings of the part, as well as prices and estimated installation costs. There could even be a link that's something along the lines of "Click here to find all members who have this part." smile.gif

The only thing that kinda worries me, is I'm not sure if many users would want to go through a long list and fill in information, and if only a couple people used this feature, it wouldn't be very helpful. What would you guys think of a feature like that?

I'd like to fill in all my prices and stuff, it keeps a tab on how much I've spent so far smile.gif I would actually like it that way and then users could consult other users when problems arise with install you just find a member online and ask him.

I've kind of been working on it, but it's going to take lots and lots and lots of work. frown.gif

I thought the group buy section was fairly straightforward, and that ended up taking me 22 hours of pure work to get it finished. This is even more advanced and complicated than the group buy section, so it'll probably take me a while.

Yea thanks coomer for everything. I think that a product review section would definately help me out instead of me constantly asking why I shouldnt install dropzone coilovers in my car hahaha.
