Hi guys, need your advices,

Just got a '99 at 44k miles, and thinking about buying additional insurance from
warrantydirect.com or warrantybynet.com. Anybody has purchase something like that? Do you think it is worthy of spending ~$1,200 for 4 year 100k miles?
thanks a lot rolleyes.gif

Personally? Its a toyota. If I owned I ford, I'd prolly get the insurance. The point where you need it is 150k+ miles if anyways. You won't need it for under 100k, at least you shouldn't. I think you money would be better spent putting it in a bank account till you need it... but thats just my $0.02

Yeah, Toyotas are very reliable cars if they're taken care of. Our old Corolla that my aunt drives now has about 240,000 miles and everything is stock on it still.

My engine is dying on me, but I think that's due mostly in part to the lack of previous owner maintenance.

New Toyota project coming soon...
