is there a way to wire up aftermarket fans? i have seen different sized ones, but i dont know if they would plug right into where the stock fans go, or how i would go about doing that. so does anyone use aftermarket fans by any chance?

Why do you need aftermarket fans? I thought our fans were slim enough as is?

Well, that explians it.

I don't have aftermarket fans (nor do I know anyone that does right off) but it shouldn't hard to install, not much to their wiring.

Also, this question should probably be moved to the Interior/Audio/Electrical/Wiring section (mabey the engine section since it's about cooling the engine)

ah ok, well i was looking at these fans and its gonna be close to $400 to replace both of them, i think thats just outrageous for 2 fans + motors. And i also dont have the original ones so i cant even messure them to get an idea of what size aftermarket ones i need frown.gif can anyone help me out?

http://www.eraceparts.com/item.jhtml;$...mp;PRID=1503602 that is kind of what i was looking at, fairly cheap look to be alright for the job, and i can have brackets made up to hold them in place

nope. nearest junk yard is spokane i think, and last time i checked they only had 1 celi in it and it was picked clean. thats where i got my new front end from. it didnt even have lights or anything like that in it. but anyways, do you guys think 14 inch universal would be small enough to fit in there if i had some sort of brackets made for it?

Usually junkyards pull the fans along with the engines, so may well have them stored elsewhere. Try car-part.com
