I've been thinking of changing the color of my ignition ring, but I don't know what size the bulb is. If you know, please help me out. This has probably been answered before, but I just couldn't find a post that had the bulb number, which is what I need.

You wont find the wire if your car doesnt have lighted ignition ring in the first place, like me. You will need to make some sort of activation/time-out circuit and hook it up....

maybe overseas its like that but all the USDM ST's with power windows and door locks have the plug-in for the lighted ring already hanging. the plug from the 5th gen ring doesn't plug right into the 6th gen though, you'd have to splice some wires.

to get to the plug you have to take off the plastic panel under the steering wheel (the one that has the hood latch attached to it) then you also have to take off the support under it. the plug should be hanging right near the blue door lock module
