If you want to stop it from coming up you must wire a switch between the one of the power supply wires.. Why dont just get a S2000 antenna??...much simpler that way. -------------------- 98% completion --- aaRon |

you would have to use the wires at the antenna itself... either the ground or power would work... if you use the one in the back of the head unit.. when the switch was "on" - the antenna would go up, when switched to off - the antenna would go back down, you couldn't stop it, if you use either ground or power wire from the harness in the rear of the car, you would be able to stop it at whatever height you would like , it would be just a snip of the wire, extend it to where you want it in the car, put the switch in and run a wire back to the original loaction

When the you switch to radio the HU sends 12v to the trigger wire and the antenna goes up...when switched to a different mode 12v is removed and the antenna goes back down. As I said above if you wanna stop the antenna halfway (or anywhere else ftm) wire a switch across one of the supplying wires... -------------------- 98% completion --- aaRon |

at anything other than all the way up... your reception will be reduced... even with an s2000 antenna the reception will be reduced... radio signals are waves... the length of the wire plus antenna is exactly a multiple of the wavelength, when you change the height of the antenna, you're going to make it not match up to the wavelength which will then reduce reception...
