soo im going to replace my high beams in my celi since the driver side one is broken and i was thinking of just buying a new oem high beam but thought why not get some JDM high beams instead. so im wondering if you guys think oem lows and JDM highs look good on the celi. also i know the lows are not dot approved but are the highs not dot approved either? i would get the whole set, lows and highs, but i still bring my celi to toyota to get it serviced (still a newbie with my car) so i dont want them to notice that my lights are not dot approved. also if anyone has any pics of celicas with the JDM hig and oem lows, i would love to see them.

You will never have any issues with them not being DOT approved. I've had mine on for a while, with no issues at all. No one cares. However, if you do get the projectors, do the conversion to make them for left hand drive. Otherwise they will flash in the eyes of all oncoming traffic, which is just not cool. It will only take an afternoon to do the work, and its worth it.
They are $$$ but if you have the money they are so worth it. Really awesome looking (and way better visability too) -------------------- psalm 69 |

^ Agreed. I have had my Projectors for well over a year now. And never ever had a problem with them not being DOT approved.
