While replacing my water temp sender, I broke off the bottom piece of the valve. Top tube is still attached. Will this affect driving? What does it even do?

When it gets hot enough it takes fuel vapors from the charcoal canister and burns them through the intake. I'm not sure if it will effect performance or not? I broke mine and I found one at the junk yard for $4 and it was brand new. They are used on alot of toyotas, not just celicas.

lol thats exactly what i broke a couple months ago, i broke both tubes off and just electrical taped em shut. it does nothing. Probably increases fuel economy by .1 mpg and emissions by little.
you could go to a junk yard and get one for cheap, but toyota will charge you almost 100 bucks. -------------------- |
