like Kerosene said, they go in slanted, no need to modify anything, the brightness can be adjusted just like you do now, nothing chances except the color

Takes two of these in the gauges, two '74' leds and one '24' bulb (24 is bigger than 74/smaller than 194). -------------------- ~Andy

QUOTE(kerosene @ Nov 1, 2007 - 9:31 AM) What are ya talkin about? that's what i'm using in my SS-III. just didn't want him to be disappointed when we tell him that he needs two 194s, he orders them, then realizes he needs 3 more bulbs AFTER he takes his dash apart. Oh, and a 74 can be used in place of the 24, but i would advise the 24. i've only seen them at superlumination under 74 bulbs (their prices suck, but only place i've seen them) This post has been edited by stetsonaw: Oct 31, 2007 - 7:41 PM -------------------- ~Andy

your best bet would be to find someone who has a GT and done the mod, and see what they did. the gauges may be different between the models. kerosene may have only used 3 194s. i had to use 2 194s, 2 74s and 1 24 for mine. the 194s in mine are for the tach and half of the speedo, the 24 for between the temp and fuel gauges, and the 74s for the top of the temp and bottom of the fuel gauges. may be different in the GT's.
How To EDIT: a lot of LEDs are polarized, if they don't work the first try, turn them around in the connector (black thing), then they should work. This post has been edited by stetsonaw: Oct 31, 2007 - 7:52 PM -------------------- ~Andy

the warning lights are size 74 or 79, not sure, and the quantity varies depending if it's a GT os ST and ABS or non ABS. I would say they are around 12 - 13 bulbs all together.
