Rode in this car on Saturday... pretty sweet stuff. I can't believe that thing peels out in 1st and 2nd gear with the auto tranny. Crazy.

Goodluck with the Tuning. Hit me up when you're done, I'll have my friend take some real videos. thumbsup.gif

i cant wait to see the results!
how many psi are you planning on running?

it WILL be super rich everywhere till you turn it up some anyway.

the 5sfte's ive seen all needed major fuel removal @ idle and part throttle, and some, but not as much after 4500rpm @ WOT.
you'll see big gains as you tune out the richness from 2500-5k rpm its pretty cool to see actually.
gook luck!

Actually I've got an auto 3SGTE. No trans swap yet.

Congrats on getting it done. I'm very interested in how your currently healthy trans holds up.

by rebuild you mean CT27, right? wink.gif when I was looking for rebuilds the cheapest I found was like $550, a CT27 costs like $850... it's worth it biggrin.gif

so it was the turbo.... was it a snaped shaft from not having a bov on it all that time..... or did a fin clip the housing and get stuck? how did u find out it was the turbo? did u take off the filter element like i told ya to do to see if something went rong? .....

.... should have bought my ct26 and rebuilt it to a ct27, reclock and re do the ic pipe with a new same side inlet outlet ic .

man good luck duder let me know if u need n e thing.... btw i had a set of wires with the number two cylinder wire missing. and a set of copper spark plugs that are the right temp range for the turbo.... no need to buy 4 plugs for 6 bucks

the auto must have much longer gear ratios, tha manual would be redlining 5th gear at about 130 mph!

Haha just did a little calculation

With an auto tranny (and enough power) you would reach 188mph @ 7000 rpm
My car with (JDM/EU) tranny could reach 162 mph @ 7000 rpm

Never want to try it out though!

You should be able to get a used ct26 in good condition for $200 or less.

i know your trying to do the right thing for your motor, but this is one of those times where you should just trust the guys who have had their swaps for a while and have done a ton of research into this.

good condition doesnt mean dependable...i got mine in good condition with minimal shaft play but look what happened....should i rebuild myself with a kit or professionally done?
$100 vs. $350...either week down or month down due to funds for xmas
