5/20 Update:

Got the AC compressor replaced with a re-manufactured denso one - old compressor leaking. AC is painfully pricey to fix, but here in texas it is a must with 100+ degree days. frown.gif But, now its blowing ice cold. biggrin.gif

Now, hood gap issue with brace: CLICK

edit: removed engine pic b/c of new pics 2 posts down.

i know your trying to do the right thing for your motor, but this is one of those times where you should just trust the guys who have had their swaps for a while and have done a ton of research into this.

very cleanly done, looks great.

sorry, i haven't read the whole thread but do you have any plans to add the TRD S/C?

i know JPP made some very nice aftermarket headers for the 1MZ but they were for a Camry/Solara so i'm not sure how much custom work you would have to do to make the piping route correctly for a 6GC.
they weren't the cheapest things to buy but the quality was top notch. a Camry friend of mine got them so i have seen them in person.
they may be well discontinued now - i'm not entirely sure.

As of this moment i don't have any plans to. The ultimate goal (achieved) was to have a reliable, fun, quick daily driven 6th gen. But, i'm not going to say i've totally ruled out SCing down the road. tongue.gif

I think if you are gonna SC it you are definitely gonna have to reinforce the front end a tad more and do some heavy suspension mods...it would put your car into "godly" status. thumbsup.gif

Its been awhile. Update:

Interior = done

Just fixed suspension issues with struts. Details with pics and vid can be found here.
Changed fronts from bilstein to kyb. Also changed springs from tein to eibach prokit.

Next thing on the agenda - my drivers side CV boot keep tearing open. I have replaced it twice already since the swap. This time, i'm going to try to find a larger one. The issue is coming from the fact that the axles are over-extending the factory st185 boot.
