tails made it to the US yesterday, tracking site said they were being processed... excited! couldnt be more than a week from now right?

So you will have to ascertain which bulb goes in which holder in the back of the cluster. (This is certainly true for UK spec, early model lights). You are right about the "must" have, because of traffic rules in Norway. If I remember correctly (spent some time in Bergen), a rear fog light must be fitted. Also, importantly, the location of it, that is, depending upon which side of the road you drive on will depend upon where the fog light should be fitted. In the uK it must be fitted to the rear right hand side of the vehicle, I guess in Norway, it will be the rear left hand side of the vehicle - but check that. You have 2 options: 1. Buy a small rectangular (or similar) red lensed light and attach it to the under side of the bumper. Then run a wire from the light through the car to a switch on the dash or console (where ever you want). 2. Use one of the reverse lights (clear lenses) and replace the bulb with a red bulb. (Or paint the bulb). (Traffic rules state that you only need one reverse light) Then cut the reverse light wire, connect a new wire to the light and then run the wire through the car to a switch on the dash or console (where ever you want). I've done option 2. |
