I'm looking for a Toyota Curren Clip. Does anyone know a place where I can order from? I've tried searching for it on google but seems like it's harder than I originally thought. I know that once in a while it pops up on ebay hadn't seen one for a while. Can ToyotaWorld order this front end? Another question I have is if I buy this clip, I'd have to do some welding correct? Is it pretty much like the Integras where if I buy a jdm front, I'd weld? I saw my inlaws welding in the jdm front end. I'd appreciate all the help I can get.

ps: I am now searching 6gc for more info!

Id say contact a local JDM engine place and see if they can outsource you a clip. Most of the time you can do special orders with them. As for the installation, i think that the majour difference in the celica and curren front end is alot like the integra where its just the rad support and some wiring. You can also ask Playr158 about whats involved, hes doing a RHD/RWD/Curren conversion right now.

I wonder who will get done faster. Playr158 is taking forever with his conversion, but I will say this. The longer it takes someone to do a project to nicer it turns out to be.

His projects just taking forever cuz hes also doing a RWD setup and converting it from LHD to RHD. The curren conversions already done, its just every thing else needs to be done now.

my Curren swap has been done for MONTHS. as well as my RHD swap.

although a side noted update:
I'm not going to do the RWD conversion at this time.
its biting off too much, I discussed this with Doggy some time ago.
the motor build will be like itchy's except more power, and take more time and will use an E153 more than likely.
once the car is together, motor is tuned and running reliably, and I am no longer up to my neck in debt the RWD conversion will take place.

those items were on ebay a while back, the seats have a good amount of mold/mildew on them.

The seller that had these for sale on ebay is good, I have bought a few things from them in the past.

how did you get these items ?

Actually the seats had slight mold/mildew on them, which cleaned up nicely. Plz don't make negative comments in my thread. If you don't have interest then don't post here.

I have made contact and become acquainted with one of the owners, with who I made a business transaction with. Not that it is your business.

well my apologies for posting relivent information.

Someone who joins the site with the sole intention of selling items should at least be up front with the truth, the members of the community deserve that.

I guess I'm the jerk then.

Batman722 is right
when i go to the buy/sell forum, the users of this community, we give details of how everything is,
we are trying to sell, but at the same time not to screw up people.
sorry if i posted my opinion about this but i just felt i did what it was correct
batman722 you don't have to apologize, you have been here for a long time, so you dont have to,
also thanks for giving us that RELIVENT information, laugh.gif

He wasn't apologizing, he was being a dick, which is the vibe I got from him from the first post.

I need not be questioned or criticized by a person who's opinion of the items in question is completely irrelevant.

They were cleaned with upholstery cleaner and don't show any signs of mold/mildew.

I do NOT lie to people and have been selling parts since 03'. I did not appreciate you making a ignorant comment.

BTW this is a "WHERE TO BUY" thread. I was answering a question.

how anyone could think I was being a dick from that is just plain dumb. I praised the ebay sellers, I was hoping you were them.

Blah blah blah just leave it alone.. You are getting nowhere. I don't like you, you don't like me, so are we just gonna keep bickering and post whoring, or are you gonna go away and stop trying to ruin my threads.

You'll probably stick around and try your hardest to piss me off, but WHY? You don't want the item so why not just go away and bother someone else.

Did you not read that I cleaned the seats?

I don't see what the problem is. Batman is being helpful by providing trader21 and all of us 6gers' with more information regarding those items on sale. EF_STATUS, if you believe this thread is not Batman's business, then it sure not your business either. BTW, what gives you the right to start flaming in trader21's thread? You've got serious problem dude.
