Hey guys, how do you manage to keep the shift boot all the way up down tthe knob? Mine doesn't hold up by itself, the little plastic ring thingy can't sit on it's usual spot because of the TRD shift knob.

Mine is the ST20# TRD shifter kit and it relocates the boot clip further down
ok the factory one doesn't have the clip on it but iirc it's about 1" below the threaded section? -------------------- |

Yeah I guessed TRD short shifter had a lower clip spot though some seemed to have the standard shifter with the boot holding up. |
