I had a bit of a search around but couldn't find an answer.
I've currently got a 97 ST which I'm aiming to get a back end looking like this (With supra spoiler):

with regards to the Skyline-a-like tail lights.
I have two questions
1) I need to get a square, two line reg plate pannel like in the image above, to replace my current, long thin one like in the photo below (Both photos not my car). I've found a breakers yard who will ship me one, but will it fit? It would be nice to know this before I part with cash.

2) I wanted to fill in the ugly seam that the quad convertrs have, but I'm concerned that I'd not be able to change the bulbs, does anyone with these lights know if you can access the bulbs by taking the individual lenses off? Or does the whole unit need to come out?

In addition the the back end, I'm looking to get a gt4 bonnet (hood) and bumper from a breakers yard, I know these fit nicely onto the GT (ST202), but how is the fitmet with the ST (AT200). I know I'll have to extend the bonnet latch.

in regard to ur questions:

1. it will not fit.
2. the whole unit has to come out.

gt4 hood will fit on ur st and ur right about extending the latch.

Mind you the first picture was done on PS, if you intend to do similar mod then it will be very hard to change the bulbs, unless you can individually take each lense off.

1)Do you know where it doesn't fit? i.e the lights, the keyhole, the bumper, the boot?

2)It's hard to see really, but there seem to be some screws on each lens if you zoom right in, I'm going to contact the seller with regards to this one I think.

3) What about the bumper? Is that good as well.

Thanks

I think lubu misunderstood. A 2-line (US-style) numberplate will not fit the euro-style recess, but the number plate panels are interchangeable, so you could fit a 2-line numberplate into the new recess once you have change the panel over.

Regarding question #3, I am not aware of any differences between the AT200 and ST202 fender/bonnet/bumper beyond the differences between the ST202 and ST204 (which have different but interchangeable fenders). I would have thought it would be a straight swap just the same as an ST202.

If you're wondering how the parts come off and what will and won't fit, I've got a US Spec Celica and I'm in North Yorkshire if you ever want a gander. lmk

Yeah, I was taling about the pannel, not just the plate. Got quotes for:
bonnet £220
bumper complete with the fogs £350
rear panel £40
They seem good, especially the bonnet price. Or should I keep looking? I'll see if he'll take £550 for the lot.

Thanks for the offer to try parts, but it would cost me more than £40 in petrol just to drive to Yorkshire.

I think you can get it cheaper, Ive seen the bonnet go for 400AUD (~£170) but I guess it depends whos selling it and it they want to get rid of it or not....

My bad for the misunderstanding. smile.gif

Just a little update for the record, I contacted the people who make the quad-conversions and they said that:
"The whole light unit (round unit) would come out, leaving a wire trailing back into the car. Then you could twist the bulb holder off the back of the unit."
Which means I can fill away and still change bulbs. I'll be buying soon as my next pay comes through.

Update:
Found a UK specialist stripper of Celica ST205s, he has 5 of them! I've been quoted £525 for Front bumber with fogs and indicators, Front bonnet and rear reg plate pannel.
