I have noticed one weird thing... According to EPC there are two types of GT-four hood. 53301-20550 and 53301-20500. I have tried to ask for price from local Toyota and have found interesting thing.:

53301-20550 -> JDM ST205 hood only. Available for all JDM ST205 models (94-99). Price €930.
53301-20500 -> JDM WRC model hood, available only for 9 months of 94 in Japan. And the same hood is used for all European ST205 models! Price €1030...

Anyone here knows what is difference between them? I have only one idea... it's absence of air to cowl guide hood spoiler for JDM hood. What do you think? Thanks for opinions...

Really now? My hood came directly from the dealer (using the JDM part number) and it had the spoiler holes already punched, so the spoiler holes could not be the difference.

Martin - just in case - if you want, i can get this hood from my source (i get -30% off the stock price + i can "wash away VAT") so we could manage somthing out.

And on another note - if you though about upgrade that we talked - maybe we could do it everything in one shot? wink.gif

let me know - cuz after new year i will have less busy shedule, so maybe we will figure out somthing.

We dutch guy's are always straight to the point and honest/direct when aksed for opinions. That's why I sometimes can be a bit 'rude'. smile.gif

Anyways about the hood. My stock GT hood came with the mounting holes for the hood spoiler. My JDM ST205 didn't. But the drill at the bodyshop took care of that laugh.gif laugh.gif

When I got my ST-205 hood, it had the hood spoiler holes already. I thought they all had them. I don't think Toyota would charge that much for punching a few holes. tongue.gif

53301-20500 (according EPC for JDM WRC ST205 and European ST205) has "holes" for hood spoiler already...
