Just wanted to do the introduction (everyone else does so why not¿). My name is Ty and I live in rural NSW Australia. Anyways enough about me, on to my car.
Got it in June this year with 127xxxk's on it. It's a 97 SX as my name would suggest.
IPB Image
(I like this pic)

So far I haven't done alot to it. 17" wheels. They are Rodney Jane Racing Choppers for those that were asking about them.
IPB Image
(Ya a dog pissed on the wheel just before i took the shot)

Started on the stereo. Alpine IVA-W202E...

and Rockford Fosgate T162S. 6.5" components.
IPB Image
(Little hard to see I know)

Plenty more to come, money permitting. Finish the stereo, stereo, suspension/handling, 5sfte or 3sgte then exterior work.
Now for some more pics.
Love this angle,

Basically stock inside still,

Intercooler to come... in the future

Are these the clear side markers that people are chasing a bit¿

That's it for now. Hope you enjoy the pics.

Welcome btw nice suspension setup you're aiming for. But the way you drive might not necessitate those parts. buy wisely.

Thanks for all the comments everyone. Keep'em coming.

I took the shot of the one that the dog did its buisness on just for that reason. Somethin different. Kinda sick I know.
The idea with the Teins is just to have the best of right from the start. No doubling up that way buying the same components twice. Once it's done the plan is to drive it in a way that would neccesitate them. It alraedy handles pretty sweet but I still can't wait.
The Alpine unit is sweet. Coupla niggly things but nothing that would stop me from buying it again. The speakers sound awesome. Can't wait to finish the whole set up in that department. Going to end up nice and punchy bass with such a small area in the back.
I haven't actually had to do anything to keep the engine that clean, just hasn't gotten dirty. Lovin it.

BTW how do I make a sig¿

Looking sweet man! What is your opinion of the RJR wheels? I noticed how cheap they are and was wondering if this was because of the quality or what.

I'm thinking of swapping for some different springs in the new year also (to also lower about 1"). What did you pay for the Teins?

Be sure to keep us posted as she progresses wink.gif

Sigs are done by clicking on the "My Controls" link at the top of the page. Then in the menu under "Personal Profile" click "Edit Signature". Easy!

Haven't actually got the teins yet. Only price I've been given so far is $3500 installed with the EDFC. It'd also take 10 weeks to ship'em over from Japan. Thats from a local dealer. Coul dprobably get them cheaper off the net. There's a company based in Canberra that sells them but I haven't been able to get a price yet. E-mailed them ages ago but no reply. Pissed me off so I haven't written back yet. Will do though and I'll let you know.
The RJRs are good as far as I can tell. Got a bit of curb rash on one of them. These cars have the turning circle of an aircraft carrier. Everyone I've talkeed to loves the look of them though. Not great for performance I wouldn't think but I'm not worrying about that quite yet. Bit rough on our great Aussie roads...
Will keep everyone up to date with progress
