You should have just tried to do the swap yourself. I can guarantee that you would have done a better install, with a newer motor, for about half the money.
The problem with any shop is that they don't give a crap about you or your car. they just want to bang something out, and move onto the next car.

lagos I have 2 degrees in computers and 1 unofficial degree in computer games. I am not as mechanically savvy as some guys here to do the swap. I could have probably figured it out with time but i dont have a garage and more importantly enough time to even try to perform the swap.

About 99% of the people on this site that have done the swap, had zero mechanical experience prior to taking the project on. If we can do it, so can you! biggrin.gif
