I need to re-wire my tachmeter, the ppl at a speed shop did it the 1st time, but i wanna do it myself this time...can any1 help me???

installation instructions

a) open trash can

b) grasp tach

c) throw in trash

d) don't come outta your room for 3 weeks for the shame you just brought upon yourself

Just search for the 7A-FE ECU pin out diagram and look for the RPM/IGN wire. Probably needs an additional powersupply and groundwire.

Pics of the tach itself (with wires) would be helpfull wink.gif

@playr: Thats what I do when I recieve knew computer parts, also with the drivers cd's biggrin.gif

The reason i use a tachmeter is because my RPM cluster does not work properly!

Why not? Shouldn't that be where you should focus on fixing before you slap a big tachometer in? If it's broken, fix it. Don't buy a bigger one.


What do you do with all of that tach space? Looking at getting your ST to hit 10,000 RPMs? tongue.gif
