When i drove my car today i heard the exhaust pop and now my rpms surge up and down. it acts like its going to shut off but it doesnt. it just drops down to 200 or 300 rpms and shoots back to 1000rpms.
PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!

Maybe check all your vacuum lines and make sure you didn't blow a hose, and also check your manifold to make sure you don't have a hole or a crack in it. It sounds to me like you have an airflow issue. But I'm no mechanic, and a lot of people on here know way more than I do about this kinda stuff. That's just where I'd start though.

go to an exhaust shop and get ur exhaust pipe weld prob has crack or have a hole in it.

if your having surges of RPMs it has something to do with the Air Flow or exhaust But a Pop could concern me. Get under the car and go all the way down the Pipe see if you can find any holes, after that, follow it up to the Manifold see if you have an holes there, though i would think that if its that high you'd hear it leaking. after that and still nothing check the Intake system and see there but i would start from the @$$ of the car and head up.

check your IAC valve, and the hose running to it.
its the middle, larger hose of the 3 running to the underside of the throttlebody.
