I'm in the process of trying to find a header.
(I have a few choices albeit for a Corolla)
The thing I would like to know is what type, that is, ceramic, stainless or chrome?

What do you guys recommend?

Hello vphmc,
Headers are a basic mod but i prefer stainless than ceramic, they got better flow, but ceramic has more duration do to heating so make your choice smile.gif
Check out the HKS Racing Header Type 2,its out for the 3S-GE for $547 check out www.takakaira.com.

I heard somewhere that Chrome and Stainless headers heat up very quickly which has an adverse effect on exhaust gas flow.
...thats why some racers wrap exhaust bandages around them.

BTW: I have a 7a-fe 1.8 ST so the 3s-ge (2.0 GT) header wont fit.
...and $547 for a header is expensive even if it is HKS.
Thanks anyway.
