I'm in the process of trying to find a header.
(I have a few choices albeit for a Corolla) The thing I would like to know is what type, that is, ceramic, stainless or chrome? What do you guys recommend? This post has been edited by vphmc: Aug 15, 2003 - 5:54 PM |

Hello vphmc,
Headers are a basic mod but i prefer stainless than ceramic, they got better flow, but ceramic has more duration do to heating so make your choice ![]() Check out the HKS Racing Header Type 2,its out for the 3S-GE for $547 check out www.takakaira.com. |

I heard somewhere that Chrome and Stainless headers heat up very quickly which has an adverse effect on exhaust gas flow.
...thats why some racers wrap exhaust bandages around them. BTW: I have a 7a-fe 1.8 ST so the 3s-ge (2.0 GT) header wont fit. ...and $547 for a header is expensive even if it is HKS. Thanks anyway. |
