hey peeps, ok im in the middle of my 7afe rebuild and turbo set up and i have run into yet another snag, i have everything taken apart and ive sent my head to the shop to get it cleaned and polished but anyways back to my problem . . . . im replacing the pistons and im not sure how to get the wrist pins out of the old pistons. i know someone out there has replaced pistons on there 7a before so please send some celi love my way . . . i need the help. im afraid im going to beat the crap out of the and mess them up but anyways . . . . . .

Personally, I'd send them to a machine shop to R&R because it's not something you'd really want to do yourself if you've never done it before. To elaborate on the technique... you don't want the rod red hot because warping can occur if too hot or if the rod cools too fast. I took mine to a machine shop also when I rebuilt my 7A. They didn't charge me anything, though. It was too easy for the old dude.
