Im planning big and planning bit by bit....since everyone is crazy about getting a 3SGTE swap and doing conversions...I plan to tackle a big project of my own...keep in my mind im still planning the blue print...but at least i want to slowly build up a plan and get ideas...Most definitely... im looking into making a wide body for the celica, but still keeping the GT-4 look or C-one front bumper to match, which would be an issue...of course, with all this idea of replica...only thing that would not be in after buying the parts is the actually WRC 3rd Gen engine kindasad.gif which is the hardest to fine...first, im planning to buy all the suspension parts like roll cage, 3pt strut, sway bars...side struts, find subframe for AWD (possibly) etc...etc...My question is: "Has anyone on this site ever built a celica from ground up...going to the body frame of the car to putting all necessary components in?" piece by piece...there's a lot of thread about how to swap and do miscellaneous repairs, but to actually build the car like from the factory up? biggrin.gif so want some opinions if any have had experience with this type of work, so i can get the ball rolling... biggrin.gif thanks in advance...guidance to a talk to someone or info on this would be most appreciated...I have called TTE and email them, but no luck...frown.gif
