 question about oven trick for taking apart light housings |

Has anyone done the oven trick to remove the orange pieces from inside the jdm tails or the 96+ turns? I need to know how long and at what temp i have to "cook" them, and so on. the only how-to i could find for the tails was to cut the top off of the turn area and remove the orange bit that way.
