Have you checked all the undercarriage plastics and fender wells to make sure there's nothing sticking out?

Sounds to me like it may be your cv joints. just replaced the ones on my girls ST cuz of the disgusting clicking/pop whenever she turned the wheel.

actually changing hers was the first time i've ever done it myself. so it took me a while cuz of the learning curve. not too hard at all, just time consuming. definately recommend having an xtra set of hands to help you if possible. as far as where to get em and price, there's a place down here thats a sub division of carquest and i got em there for 100bucks. (both sides). I ordered some for my GT from www.raxles.com. 160 shipped is what it cost me i think.

Just replace the whole axle assembly. Its easier. Just make sure you drain the gear oil. Either go out and get an axle puller or try to either pry it out or just pull with all your might to pop it out. Thats what I did. Make sure you check the axle seal too. All in all its an easy job, you just get stuck on pulling the axle and rusted bolts.

Look in there deeper. You should be able to pry it out with a flat head screw driver. I dont recommend it though. Myabe you should start working out. Maybe work on your trapezious and latissimus.

oh wow, i thought you had a manual. You'll need a lot to fill that bad boy up man. I'm not sure, you dont happen to have a chilton manual any where do you? That would help a lot.

If im not mistaken, and I've heard it on here numerous times, the axles are splined, meaning they wont come out until you rotate them to the proper degree... So why is everyone prying them out?

See, I dont really pry mine out. I twist and pull until I hear the most relieving sound ever. The axle popping out.

yea i had to change my cv axle for both driver and passenger cause the boot busted... all i did was just twist and pull... since its just geared in there it will eventually pop out.Just the part where you have to put it back in is a pain... and i have a auto 7afe.. i think i put in 5 quarts of auto tranny fluid. after i flushed it out.
