Guys im lost with this one and i need help with this.

Ive got a check engine light on thats is bring up this code P0401, Low Air Flow on EGR

I pulled the possible issues with this error and this is what i got

1.Blocked Passage on EGR (Which i have already cleaned out the Intake so thats not the problem)
2.Failed EGR Value( my Tech checked this when doing the cleaning and he said it pulled fine, but i dont know if its possible for it to pass tests and still be broken)
3. EGR Solenoid Faulty( Im assuming they mean the EGR Vacuum Solenoid)
4.Failed EGR Pressure sensor where applicable( not sure what they mean )
5.Failed EGR Postition sensor where applicable(not sure what they mean)
and im not even sure we have the last 2 on our cars because i cant find those parts for Celis anywhere.

The only thing i have left is the EGR Vacuum Solenoid or the Air Charge Sensor. These are the only things left that i can think of that could be causeing this problem.
If you guys have any input or know something im missing please let me know. its like $100 bucks for those 2 parts so i dont think its going to hurt to get them both and just do it. But im low on funding and cant do much more after this for a while. inspections out on my car so that why im in a rush to fix this problem. Any help would be great.

Thanks

Symptoms are the car running rough and hiccuping at cruise speeds in 5th around 55mph.

Feels like the car is missfireing almost, but thats not it, trust me that was whole other project that weve fixed.

basically it shudders at cruiseing speeds.

i dont have a vaccum leak because the only code im pulling for for the EGR. a vacuum leak would show as well. and i would hear if it was this bad.

naw. ill double check but i was having this problem before i had the intake manifold cleaned out and they had to take the manifold out of the engine to do that. If it was off it would have been put back in when they did that and im still having the problem. But ill still check.

Owned by OBDII. tongue.gif I could pull out pretty much anything on my engine other than the MAP sensor, and have a vacuum leak, and that 7A will run "like it just don't care". laugh.gif On a serious note, I hope you fix your problem. It can be frustrating.

Ok. I just need to know one thing. Where on this car is the EGR temperature sensor located? There are so many speculations it makes my head hurt. I need to know where that thing is or what it looks like or something. Help.

That's probably the one, because we couldn't find it from looking down on top of the engine.

update

Ive pulled a few parts off another GT. the EGR Valve, and the Vaccum Switch Senser. Im almost sure that its not the Vaccum Switch because i unpluged it and the car died, so if that wasnt working then the car would be dying and its not. So heres what im going to do.

First, im going to take the old EGR valve and check it, make sure that there is no more Carbon build up in the hole and through out the valve. reason being is because when the shop did the Bath on the Intake, they didnt clean the Valves out, so im think there could be carbon still backing up the flow for the EGR valve. i also might take it back to my Tech and see if he can test the Vavle again

Second, remove old EGR and replace it with the one i pulled. The only thing with that is that im afraid that that one might be bad too because its old as well. but i figure i can put that one on to and have it tested as well

after that unless someone on here has any ideas im out of ideas.
