You are trying to do a project where you are 100% in the dark about everything and you're just going to end up wasting a lot of money, time and blow your engine up. The "intercooler outlet" thing on your turbo.. that is called the COMPRESSOR HOUSING.. the other side of the turbo where exhaust gas goes through is called the TURBINE HOUSING. The thing in the middle where coolant/oil goes is called the CHRA (Center Housing Rotating Assembly) Read THIS! http://www.streetracersonline.com/articles...o/wastegate.php http://bankspower.com/Tech_howturbowastegateworks.cfm http://www.gofastbits.com/index.php?parent...ption=tech_info http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blowoff_valve http://www.newton.dep.anl.gov/askasci/eng99/eng99202.htm http://paultan.org/archives/2006/03/16/wha...-aspirated-car/ http://auto.howstuffworks.com/question122.htm http://www.holset.co.uk/files/2_3_1-how%20...ger%20works.php http://www.answerbag.com/q_view/60906 http://www.kadekticaret.com/whatisaturbocharger.htm http://www.team-integra.net/sections/artic...?ArticleID=1146 http://www.bentleypublishers.com/gallery.h...p;galleryId=805 I know that is a lot of articles to read but once you are done you will have far far less questions to ask here and you will be very much out of the dark. Now that you know the proper names of a turbocharger and how it works you will be able to google the information you seek much easier! -------------------- 87 4runner DLX 22re, 5spd, 4.30gr, 4" lift, 30" tires, HID w/ Projectors, 6spkr + sub, custom exhaust, 94 celica leather seats, SR5 gauge cluster and clinometer. yeah just clock the turbo and if you want do what i did to make room and have good cooling remove your fans and go to your local auto parts dealer and buy a high flow slim cooling fan around 14in i think and put it to the front of the radiator or if it still has ac in fronnt of the condensor core then wire it fight so it pushes air back on the motor , dont try to pull air out of the motor. it works great and it will give you alot of room under your hood for your t3-t4 , trust me it will work i have done this just look in my profile.
