the whole movie is completely pointless except for the part when he hits his alarm...pay close attention....if you dont feel like watchin the whole thing scroll to 4 minutes and 45 seconds...thats when he hits the alarm...watch what happens....its pretty cool.

Some newer luxury cars can do that. Tripped me out first time my friend rolled up the windows on his A4 with the alarm remote. Cool idea, but not worth the effort to install if you don't already have it imo.

Most alarm shops can install the window roll up for you.
As for the mirrors, that was an option on jdm cars. They have such tiny roads, that folding your mirror is a must when parking. -------------------- 15PSI - 30MPG - Megasquirt Tuned

Dustin *Batman 722* has the auto window roll up on his car. Its just a modual u can buy for an alarm system. But the power folding mirrors thing is a must when you park your car in europe. In europe, the streets are soo freakin tiny and the parking spots are even smaller. When people there paralelle park, they actually use the bumpers..as in they reverse untill they bump the car behind them, then move forward untill they bump the car infront.

Well have you seen most Euoprean cars..? Alot of them are pretty small, hence why they don't need really wide roads. We're just used to wide roads because..well look at most domestic cars, we need it lol

Having worked in the scariest place on earth to drive; Naples, Italy. I can well assure you that they do use other cars as a guide. They also park wherever the hell they want, ram each other at crossways if needs be, God forbid we had to stop at red lights, and as a consequence i'd go so far as saying 90% of the cars looked like golf balls from one angle or another! After all, insurance is so much in Napoli that there is no fully comprehensive insurance available, only 3rd party ... and the BIGGER your car, the more extreme insurance becomes... hence all the tiny fiat pandas, seat marbellas, and lancia whatevers!

Your Judging about WHOLE europe by France / Italy / Spain? C'mon... Theres plenty of room in OTHER countrys for parking, and ussualy there are parking problems in center of the city ONLY. And atleast only 10% of new cars sold IN EUROPE have retractible mirrors. This mod came over whole world from Japan - and in japan - parking space is totaly limited. -------------------- Ex celica owner - just a guy from other side of the pond...

This just sounds like Brooklyn to me, we just kinda called it the "tap"... when I moved to Portland and did that with someone else in the car w/me, they were like "aren't you going to leave a note" and I totally laughed. It still makes me laugh, actually. I don't do the tap so much any more though because people really freak out about it here. Also I always kind of observed when I lived in NYC that traffic "laws" are more like traffic "suggestions." They'd like you to obey red lights, etc, but sometimes you really just can't. -------------------- |
