Nuke posted about this on celicatech so I though i would mention it here since most of you guys probably missed it.

They sell for about 100bucks on ebay, and give you a great cheap way to monitor knock. A MUST have for anyone with a turbo kit.

3sgte's have a built in knock sensor... you can tap into it with an LED to have the same outcome smile.gif

No, not in the same way that this works.
On the 3s you can tap into the tvsv system and monitor your cars RESPONSE to knock.
This led is different because it actually listens to knock directly from the knock sensor, and can possibly show you smaller knock events that the 3s ecu would make minor corrections to, but wouldnt trigger the tvsv led.

For 3s guys, the tvsv led is probably more then enough. However, the TurboXS unit is a great benefit for all the 5sfTe and 7afTe guys (and girl) who don't have a factory tvsv to hook up an led to.
