Ok so I was trying to advance my timing today and ran into a little problem. I have all the tools to do it but my distributor isn't turning. Basically, I can take the bolt out that holds it in, but if I turn it at ALL the hole will no longer line up. Thus making it so that I am not able to adjust the timing. Has anyone had this problem or know how to solve it? If a pic is necessary I can post one up.

you cannot advance the timing on a 96+
you'd have to slot the distributor bolt hole, and even then, im not sure the ecu wouldnt correct it.
