Yea.. hate honda myself.. but my brother has a 92 accord EX automatic.. 2.2L

Anywho.. Has been having some transmission problems for a while now. I'll describe and hopefully someone here will know what's going on, I don't want to have to register at a honda forum.

Ok, a few months back this all started.. It didn't want to shift into lower gears when you came to a stop.. It would pull out in 2nd gear unless you manually shifted it down to 1st.. then shift up to second after you pull out.

Anyway, I put some trans fluid in it... that for some reason fixed it for a short period time.. It started to act up again and I was like "wtf mate?" so I put some more fluid in.. didn't fix it this time. I thought maybe there was a leak somewhere.

Now it's to the point where it doesn't downshift at all.. you pull out in 3rd gear and it stays in 3rd.. it won't go into over-drive so on the highway you are just screaming balls.

The D4 shifter light on the gauge cluster always stays lit up.. whether you are in park or reverse or whatever.. D4 is always on when the engine is running.

I am thinking that the shifter servo's might be bad.. They are expensive, but atleast they sit on the outside of the transmission so easy as pie to replace.
