1999 celica gt liftback manual.
so im cruising along the other day, and just for fun, i decided to use my cruise control. i turned it on, and nothing. the light didnt turn on. i tried it at a whole bunch of different speeds and gears and still nothing. i read the owners manual and it says that if the light starts blinking and then stops lighting all together that its busted. well it never did that. it just stopped working. common issue? Could it have something to do with my disconnecting the battery recently? (i was lubing the alternator bearings). To be honest this isnt a major problem, who uses cruise anyway? its just irritating because ive had this car for less than a month. anyway, some input would be awesome -Luke -------------------- i love how my wheel hopping, corner rolling, one wheel wonder celica looks XD |

thanks for the the help....
for anyone who might have this problem in the future, check the following: vac lines in the throttle body (mine had a tiny tiny leak) take apart the toggle on your steering wheel and check connections. (i added connector lube to be safe) thanks again for the help O.o -------------------- i love how my wheel hopping, corner rolling, one wheel wonder celica looks XD |
