I pretty much suck. I haven't been around, and I have no time to really be around a lot. Seattle is killing me and I can't handle much else.
But I'm going to try to be around a bit more, and allow the moderators to do more and such. Anyway, I figured I'd share my new ride with you guys. I had to buy something, and ended up buying a '99 G20. It's an automatic in mint condition, with leather, a spoiler, heated seats, sunroof, etc. The automatic sucks at times (like when I'm not in Seattle), but it's very nice for Seattle traffic. Some of you know that this is the car that I've wanted for a long, long time. Anyway, on to the pics: So far all I've done is lower it, replace motor mounts, and install a sub in it. As far as what else is up with me, I'm just surviving in Seattle. Work kicks ass, but it's really hard being here because I barely know anyone here, and I no longer have a girlfriend or anything. I should hit up a 6GC meet in the northwest soon and connect with some people I haven't seen in ages and some new people. I should also be on here more, and I'm going to try hard to be. -------------------- New Toyota project coming soon...

welcome back
i do like the g20 a lot. didn't you used to have one while you had the yelli getting the engine tuck? i think they are a very clean looking ride. so what did you end up doing with the sol? i know the motor crapped out on you but haven't heard much else. just wanted to mention that i really appreciate the time that you and the mods have put into this site. i have learned so much from the people here and the information base and my car has come a long way because of it. -------------------- |

Sold it a while ago though. QUOTE(Supersprynt @ Jan 6, 2008 - 10:57 AM) No more Honda? It's sitting in my garage at home...I don't know exactly what's wrong with it, but it doesn't run. Either timing or internal damage. QUOTE(jdg371 @ Jan 6, 2008 - 3:47 PM) Isnt the G20 equivalent of a Sentra? Nah, it's a completely different chassis. Overseas it's called a Nissan Primera. -------------------- New Toyota project coming soon...

Good t see you back man. I agree, we DO need to have another 6gc meet around here sometime in the not too distant future. I like the early 90's G20s more, but that's still a sweet car.

QUOTE(Dr_Tweak @ Jan 6, 2008 - 7:29 PM) I was just thinking about you today. that last part of the post creeps me out a bit..lol its all good doc. Ive always admired the G20, from a far. Definatly has a distinct look to it. But I have to say that your DelSol (busted or not) is definatly better. Get started on tearing down the motor, and see what is the problem, if its not to bad... fix it, and rock it on weekends. Good Luck. -------------------- Kawi Love |

I say WOOHOO to even the prospect of a PNW meet! My celi kinda sucks right now but I love it just the same and I would proudly drag my scraggly-ass car to a meet (once the damn rain stops!)
Ya know Coomer, we've never talked before on here at all but I was thinking about you the other day too, and how impressive it is that you started this site and how it's grown to cultivate a strong international community. It's something you should be quite proud of! There's an awesome abundance of community and knowledge to be found on here and it's just an all around outstanding site. I hope we get to meet some time at a PNW meet maybe somewhere between Portland and Seattle? -------------------- |
