The VG30 is such a POS.. god I hate Nissan.. sounds like a great name for a cup'o'f'n noodles.
-------------------- 87 4runner DLX 22re, 5spd, 4.30gr, 4" lift, 30" tires, HID w/ Projectors, 6spkr + sub, custom exhaust, 94 celica leather seats, SR5 gauge cluster and clinometer. Future engine swap... possibly a 2jzge.

My friends 87 300zx.. Total piece of ****.. I did an FMIC on it and a 3" exhaust system and that car is such a PITA to work on.. there is no practical or semi-easy way to do an FMIC on it.. it has no IC to begin with.. I got so pissed off trying to route the pipes that I only charged him for the exhaust system and told him to get the ****ing thing out of my site. Yes he is still my friend and he understands my pain.. this is why he won't touch a wrench himself lol.
Oh yea.. so he ended up blowing the motor up on like 10PSI too.. and EVERYTHING is vacuum controlled.. all the vents in the car.. to EVERYTHING is ****ing vacuum line controlled .. so much useless **** under the hood, they tried to make it a night-rider esque car and it's just a total piece of F'n shiz! /rant -------------------- 87 4runner DLX 22re, 5spd, 4.30gr, 4" lift, 30" tires, HID w/ Projectors, 6spkr + sub, custom exhaust, 94 celica leather seats, SR5 gauge cluster and clinometer. my friends got an 85 300zx and it's been pretty reliable for him. all he needed to do was put an alternator and a starter in it and it's run great otherwise. and he mashes on it hard!
