I tried searching for useful info, but to no avail. I have one decision to make. I know some people have had luck with the Denso Iriduim's. How about the NGK iridiums? they are are few dollars cheaper (each) and I believe they put out the same amount of performane. But what do u guys think. I should have really made this a poll, but oh well. Denso Iridiums or NGK Iridiums? If you have either please let me know how they work.

I have some NGK Iridiums sitting in the back of my car that are for my new AE101 4A-GE engine, and I've heard good things about them. I read up about both of these plugs on Club 4AG, and basically, I found that most people were very happy with either spark plug, whether they're Denso or NGK.

Well, go with NGK. I've just always heard that for toyotas (as well as all other Japanese imports), try and stick with NGK plugs...then it's like for domestic cars you use Autolite, AC Delco, Champion...and for Euro imports go Bosch. It's kind of a basic guideline we go by at my work (Napa Auto Parts).
I had the Bosch plat+4, but don't use those. They get too hot. Use the NGK iridiums. Uhm, stock number is 3764...but if they don't have that. Have the place cross reference the NGK number BKR6EIX-11. There ya go. Input from someone who works for Napa. I guess some other people may have other input...but this is all I can say. -------------------- 95 Toyota Celica GT

Yup that's right! I read that somewhere a while back, I have those Denso Iridium plugs in my own car and find them to be pretty good all rounders. Looking at the Denso website, They claim that they make a smaller plug tip than NGK currently have. But Denso soon stopped making them that small due to the fact that the plug life expectancy did not come up to an acceptable standard. If you were one of the lucky people to get the smaller tipped Densos before they stopped production then.. Otherwise, there should be no difference between the current NGK and Denso offerings. Yessir. See, Toyotas and Hondas both use NGK as their OEM plugs, then Mitsubishi uses Denso.
At least I think. I know I'm correct for sure on the Toyota and Mitsu's but on Hondas I'm not too sure. But if this is correct, then I guess it doesn't really matter. We don't sell Denso plugs, maybe it's for that reason alone...because NGK are exactly the same as Denso's. If that's the case, then I guess it's driver preference? OR whichever one is cheaper. -------------------- 95 Toyota Celica GT

Nippon Denso and NGK both came stock on Toyotas. In my car i have Denso's on their way out so i decided to go with the NGK's to try them. They're also like $3 per plug, opposed to the $10 per Denso plug.
