can anyone whos dropped with either tanabe df210 and gf210, or tein s-tech, eibach sportlines take a pic of your car going over a damn speed bump........and coming up to a speed bump. nice simple pics that wont crink my neck..........lol

things that would be helpful in the pic:

-some reference besides a speed bump maybe like your foot or a jack
-your car has 404 sides or oem sides w/ pic of making the travel over a speed bump
-16" or 17" rims with possibly 45/17 or 50/16 tires
-front extensions
-rear shot with exhaust up to speed bump
-front shot approaching speed bump

----sorry if my post seems demanding or picky--------

anyone any pic would be nice............. biggrin.gif biggrin.gif biggrin.gif

much much Alohas

*hint hint* BLINKYxMUNKEY **cough**

interesting request :-P

but speed bumps are all different sizes and types..

for me, (404 lip kit, boomer sides, dropped with Tein S-Techs) if I take a usual speed bump at a normal speed, i'll scrape... so i have to take them all slow and angled.

my front is approx 4" off the ground, side skirts around around 3 1/2 "

yeah i know its an interesting request.......and yes i know all are different sizes.........yet a chancey one for anyone. but its really killing me that i cant tell if i'll scrape by going slow/normal/or even if i spider the bumps.

if you want to see some stupid bumps i can take a pic here............like i've said before DAMN HAWAII ROADS!!!!!!!

biggrin.gif thanks,

Jon

I have the entire 404 (front, sides, back)kit, 17" rims dont know the tire size but its definitely low profile... anyways...

The thing is I'm not lowered (fronts about 5 1/2" from ground and the skirts aren't much lower then that), but I haven't had problems bottoming out on speed bumps, though when it comes to some bumps I bet its comes real close... Although thats a different story with the front of my car... now thats the part that hits the ground like no other no matter what the speed or angle frown.gif

Its too steep around my area is all lol >_<

df210's on a 3s swapped hatch with about 120lbs worth of subs in the trunk, front sits 5" off the ground level surface (prior to drop sat 7.25") and rear sits 6.75" off the ground (prior to drop & subs sat 8") car is 98 gt with 60,xxx on the chassis and new tanabe's and kyb's

did not measure the center of the car, but use those to gauge off your car

can get pics when home later

thanks yeah the one i'm worring about is the center of the car. cuz the front and back of our cars are naturally high. seriously if i look at my car from the side i can see that it looks like a smile.............with the front and rear trds and the 404 side.
