I think it was funny that when they first started showing the trailer for it they didnt have the name of the move up yet, everyone wanted to know what it was, now we know and no one wants to see it. so much for marketing

exactly that. the entire thing is through one camcorder. it was alright, cuz i wasn't expecting much. it had some good moments. i kinda wish it all wasn't first person though.

^^ WOW. I just could not stand the movie. The acting was horrible, I couldn't stand the constantly moving camera (blair witch wasn't this bad), and then I still don't know what it was. Looked like a giant cock roach to me.

I watched it and loved it.

Its definitly NOT blair witch, the first person camera is good (in other word the movie would have worked with normal camera shooting style).

People are going to hate movies when they are used to ..spider man and all that homogenous holywood stuff that always ends up like the viewers want.

Although the movie was very eye straining, I LOVED IT. I read some stuff on Yahoo and the movies based off of Godzilla in Japan. I honestly thought before I swa the creature that it was another Godzilla movie, but infact some thing else. The acting did not suck and I liked the first person camcording. Besides HUD was F'in Hilarious in the movie. Just listen to the guy, he made everything 10 times better. I agree with Rayme 2 thumbs way up.

i have yet to watch it and have only read the plot from the beginning to the head of statue of liberty gettin cut off.

i duno how i will like this. for some reason godzilla scared the sh!t outta me when i was younger but i couldnt stop watching it. i have never seen wair blitch but i know i dont get sick from watchin these kindsa movies..

i might have to watch it by myself.

I really didn't find it eye straining. If you go in expecting a hand held camera movie, which you should, you can't get upset about them running around and sometimes dropping the camera etc.

It was entertaining enough, wasn't spectacular but I don't think it was bad and it was suspensful to keep me attentive.

so i went to the midnight show of cloverfield and wasnt that impressed.
To be honest i didnt make it through much of the movie beacuse i thought i was going to puke. i dont do too well with the whole hand held camera effect.. but apparently i wasn't the only one. while i was in the bathroom trying to talk myself out of puking three girls ran in and instantly started throwing up... i went back into the theater and stood by the exit and attempted to watch the rest of the movie with some girl named maggie who was suffering from the same motion sickness problem that i was.... well needless to say i saw ( and i am in no way exaggerating) atleast seven people running by with hands held over their mouths and vomit spewing out as they tried to make it to the bathroom in time.

this made me think a lil.... wouldnt the movie production people think about this before they release a movie like this... i mean where were the warning signs reading.... warning this movie is going to suck oh and by the way there is a good chance you will vomit during this film... hell if i would have seen an ad like that i probably chosen not to attend...

oh well heres to another hyped up movie that isnt worth the money

guys, you cant really complain about getting sick from the camera. you all knew what you were getting yourself into. im not gonna go watch rambo and complain that there was too much blood...

have any of you guys tried running with a hand held camera? this movie did a wonderful representation of mimicking it.

i said my friend on myspace. not my myspace friend. i have real friends, most of my friends on my myspace list i know personally. i dont see what myspace has to do with anything anyways, i was just making reference to it. my friend on myspace which i quoted is my real friend which ive known for 10 years, not just some random person i added. i also made reference to all of you as my friend and good source of movie reviews as i have made some reviews on here myself.

why do you have to go around bashing people anyways? whenever i make reference to what someone said on here, i always start with, "someone from 6gc said". does that make anyone more or less credible? maybe, maybe not. does that mean i need to get read friends that know cars? no. it has nothing to do with it. i was just citing my sources. jeeze next time ill just say, "my friend" and ill leave it up to you to question whether or not they are imaginary...
