this has gone on long enough.

use a philips head screw driver and take off your old broken lever. Go to a toyota dealer and buy another one. Put the new one it it's place. If you want to be cool, buy a trunk popper kit and install it. But if you cannot figure out how to replace a broken lever, I wouldn't recommend you install a trunk popper kit.

my gal broke her lever... i fiberglassed it back on.

no new lever... no pop-trunk kit... no junk-yards... not much of anything...

took like an hour... most of that time was spent Smoking&Drinking while it dried....

but it depends on how you broke it... i suppose...

the lever broke off right where it meets the assembly. would fiber glass work in this case?

UPDATE
I managed to buy and install the lever but I had to remove the seat however it only took an hour.
